Do you love the Windows 10 User Interface like I do?
Here’s how to make Windows 7 look like Windows 10. My laptop has Windows 10 and I liked the interface so much that I decided to theme my Windows 7 into a Windows 10.
In this guide, I’m going to tell you how I exactly did this in just 5 minutes. It’s dead simple, and there’s no complicated registry editing going on. 😛

The Features of Windows 10 Pack:
- Login screen and themes
- Sounds and fonts
- Virtual or multiple desktops
- Cortana-like search bar
- Windows 10 start menu and more!
You can see a clear screenshot of my desktop which doesn’t exactly look like Windows 10, but it’s similar and I think it’s better. It’s just my opinion because I love things in simple.
How to make Windows 7 look like Windows 10?
You can easily turn your Windows 7 into 10 using the transformation pack. There are many Windows 10 transformation packs for Windows 7 but most of them are not so good. I tried more than three, and I found this to be the best.
1. Download Windows 10 Transformation Pack
Firstly, you need to download the transformation pack which is totally free. I have also checked the pack for any sort of malicious stuff but it was totally clean. So, my recommendations are high. 😉
The pack is only 134 MB which is pretty small. You will download the file with the .rar extension. You will be asked to provide a password when you try to extract the file.
2. Install the Transformation Pack
After you have downloaded and extracted the file. You need to open the .exe file to start the installation to make your Windows 7 look like Windows 10.
The installation looks pretty complicated, but it’s actually very simple to understand. There’s nothing you have to do, other than clicking ‘I agree‘ and then ‘next, next‘. 😛
This took me just over 2 minutes to finish installing. After you have installed, you will see no major change. So, follow the next step precisely.
3. Restart Your PC
After all the above steps are finished, you need to restart your PC for the transformation to take change. This took me less than a minute, hence, all these steps were completed before 5 minutes for me.
Once your PC is restarted, the explorer.exe will be able to load the new UI of the system such as the start menu, Cortana-like search and more! 😀
In this transformation pack, I really love the WiFi signal icon which just stands out. So, this is the complete guide to how I managed to make Windows 7 look like Windows 10 itself.
As you can see, the procedure is really easy to follow: download and install. The Cortana-like search feature stands out and I really like the simple and modern theme of Windows 10 along with my custom TechiePaw wallpaper. 😛
